BinG! Barbershop in Germany e.V. is the German association for a cappella music in the style of barbershop. We are a nationwide association for choruses and quartets that sing barbershop music - this can include arrangements of well-known musical compositions, jazz/ blues/ or country songs, or even German compositions. We are committed to sharing our passion for barbershop music and inspiring as many people as possible to take up this wonderful hobby and enjoy singing together.
Every two years, we offer our choruses and quartets the opportunity to participate in the German Barbershop Championships with the Barbershop Music Festival. We also organise the World Mixed Competition, in which the best mixed barbershop ensembles from around the world take part.
Next date: 12th –15th of March 2026 in the Historic Town Hall in Wuppertal
Every year, the Barbershop Harmony College takes place on the weekend around the 3rd of October. Top German and international barbershop coaches offer a wide range of personal development opportunities in vocal technique, performance elements and chorus singing.

A Cappella Love
BinG! Barbershop in Germany was founded in 1991 as a barbershop association for women and men. We were the first association worldwide to allow mixed choirs and quartets to participate in our competitions. Since 2012, we have also been organising the World Championships in mixed barbershop with ‘World Mixed’.

BinG! Chorjugend e.V.
The BinG! Chorjugend e.V. (youth chorus) organises events for young singers aged between 16 and 27 who enjoy a cappella music. The focus is particularly on the barbershop style.
Ensembles from BinG! Chorjugend now regularly take part in national and international barbershop competitions, such as the Barbershop Music Festival or the Sing! Festival in the Netherlands.
